Or worse, stop any chance of that even happening.Marcelo Bielsa’s side have gone seven points clear of the playoffs amidst a global pandemic of coronavirus which is slowly spreading across the world.There have been reports suggesting that Liverpool are by no means guaranteed the Premier League title while the Serie A has been suspended for at least a month with Italy pulling a nationwide plug on sport activity for the time being.The Athletic’s Phil Hay was asked about the risk associated with Leeds, to which he responded:
It would be a monumental kick in the teeth for supporters at Elland Road if they aren’t able to be a part of such a historic moment – lifting that Championship trophy after 16 years away from the top tier of British football.
Even if they slip to second, you’d imagine the effect will still be the same.

But with Hay suggesting the possibility that they will play games behind closed doors, it means there’s a good chance that fans could miss out on witnessing this occasion with only nine games left remaining.
