Wrexham are hoping to have another trophy tilt for their award-winning documentary to cover, having previously endured Wembley heartache in the 2022 FA Trophy final as their A-list co-owners watched on in a VIP lounge.
WHAT DARREN FERGUSON SAID
The Red Dragons must overcome Peterborough in order to book a “Hollywood” date with Birmingham, but Posh – who are led by Darren Ferguson – intend to dash those dreams. The son of legendary Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has told the : “Playing at Wembley is a big carrot for the club and getting back there would give us all a lift. You can’t hide that fact. I will just tell the players who I do pick to go out there and enjoy the occasion.
“It will be a decent crowd and the atmosphere will be good so it’s a game we will look forward to. Everyone wants a ‘Hollywood’ final so it’s up to us to try and stop it happening!”
