Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a £30million bid for Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook according to The Daily Star.
The 21-year-old is a product of the famous Leeds United academy and joined Bournemouth in 2016 and has since gone on to make 35 Premier League appearances for the Cherries.
The central midfielder was a key player in England’s Under-17 Euro Championships win in 2014, and the Under-20 World Cup win in 2017, and was on standby for the senior tournament in Russia this summer.
Cook is valued at £18million on Transfermarkt and according to the report, both Liverpool and Spurs are keen on the young star, but Mauricio Pochettino is in the front seat and is lining up a £30million bid for the talent.
Tottenham are suffering something of a midfield crisis with Moussa Sissoko sustaining an injury in pre-season and Mousa Dembele still being linked with a move away this summer.
