Arsenal faced Crystal Palace twice this week, once in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals and once in the Premier League. Jesus struck five goals in those two clashes, including a hat-trick in the Gunners’ 3-2 win in the cup. The Brazilian striker netted a brace in their league meeting on Saturday, with his side running out 5-1 victors.

Jesus was being tipped to leave Arsenal either in the coming transfer windows, but his form may now encourage Mikel Arteta to keep him at the Emirates Stadium. The striker has opened up on his new-found form as he looks to secure his place in the starting lineup for the long term.
